Hi Friends, My name is Sukhvinder Singh Namdhari or "Jimmy". I strongly believe,
"God helps those who help themselves."
I have a great interest in Computer Science and Robotics. I Have Done Masters Of Computer Science Courses from University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign ,USA after my Masters in Mathematics & Under graduation in Computer Science to know more about my......Qualification. As such I am planning to go into research work in Robotics (Android Robots ) and Artificial Intelligence.
Coding is my other interest, I like to write code ( though I have been keeping writing code since 5+ years). My hobbies include listening to western and Indian classical music, reading books, playing badminton. I believe to work on those projects which require innovative ideas and creativity and are full of challenges.
Born on March 15, 1979, and the only son of my parents. I have won first prize in Innovation Machines in International Beam Robotics and in Miscellaneous Category Third prize. Apart from this I have various awards and honors from various National Scientific, Academic and Religious bodies you can check out awards & honors page, also won 1st prize in badminton at district level in India.
Having approximate 3+ years experience in Software Industry, currently I am associated with Triple Point Technology, Pune, India as a Senior Software Engineer.
I had also worked in Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi for more then One year as a Software Engineer. I worked in Data Acquisition software for Analog to Digital Converter-PICO card.
During my Masters in Computer Science Software Engineering courses I did a very interesting Software Engineering "Extreme Programming" practice really i liked this practice very much, I used this in my other class projects.
About XP ( The process of software development) : The concept of Extreme Programming (XP) is the most radical, and delightful, that I’ve seen. In the projects i love to follow the love to the extreme programming process. Really this process is very practical and you can start coding as soon as you get the contract from the customer. This is more practical than any process it doesn't require any designed documents etc. I have studied analysis and design techniques.
I would like to work on XP process for my future projects. XP is both
a philosophy about programming work and a set of guidelines to do it.
Some of these guidelines are reflected in other recent methodologies,
but the two most important and distinct contributions, in my opinion,
are “write tests first” and “pair programming.", some of the great
testers of the world have preferred to work on XP as in my class lecture
i heard about world's famous tester Brian Marick, he also favored the
XP's first testing and then coding approach very much.

Demonstration in University : I have demonstrated my robot in the Kumaun University, Nainital, India in the annual function of the physics department, which was headed by the Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof. B.S.Rajput and Prof A.S.Abbi, Indian institute of technology, New Delhi.
